Short and Simple

Just a short visit. Hehe. I really wanted to post something new so here i am. :) Oh, exactly a week away before my first final exam paper, TITAS. And this subject which i deem is similar to History, requires a looooooooot of reading -.- How i hate dislike that. :( FB is no longer alive since everyyyyybody seems like deactivating their account, due to finals. Ooohhh, i can feel the blazing heat! -.-"And right before my eyes is my room mate, Syaf who seems to be concentrating so damn hard with her straight face, reading, memorizing her notes. Wait. No. Her book. Yeah. o.O Aku salute kau lah syaf dapat resist the temptation to get online! xP But i'm almost 100% sure you will lose. Later. Haha. Cos no one ever survives in the long run. xP

p/s: What's for sure is, if Dila is around, she would be hitting me with anything within reach just to get me to open my books. Hehe. Oh. Please. I want to get rid of these feelings. -.- Anyways, thanks to all directly or indirectly for helping me to digest the fact that i got only one effing week to study ALL subjects!! ^^ All the best i wish to everyone. :)

May May Bring A New Shine To My Life

Woooohoooo!! Am on cloud nine at the moment!! xD Coz I just received my copy of My Name Is Khan original DVD this morning!! x) Just seen the special features and totally loveeeeeeeeeed them!! Especially all the unseen deleted scenes. Yea. Most of the scenes were quite essential to the film but I guess they didn't do much difference though. That's why they were cut, right?? But I still wish some of them were in the film. :P Who has seen the film??? :D Tell me your verdict guys!! Oh, can't wait for his new superhero sci-fi film - Ra.One!! Which stands for Random Access Version One. Even he doesn't understand it himself, why he's naming his next project as such. ;P

Oh, did I tell you that we had our annual dinner last two months?? I know I didn't. Haha. The dinner for foundation of engineering students was held on the 27th of February 2010 at INTECMA (pardon if the spelling is wrong -.-). I thought the night would be soulless if we weren't feasted with any performances. So I talked to the committee member for performance, that I would want to perform on that night. Haha. And eventually we made a group consisted of 7 guys and 5 girls and danced to Sorry Sorry (Suju), Geli Mat - guys ; and Gee (SNSD), Jai Ho - girls. The hall was quite small so I could feel each eyeball staring at us. Lol. I love to dance and have been joining dance performances since I was 7. ;P The feeling was good, obviously, when you do something you're passionate about. -.-" Eheh. And yes, I did get compliments and accolades for my choreography for the Jai Ho item number (PCD version) which brought smile to my face throughout the night and a few days that followed especially when the positive comments came from most of my guy friends. Muahahaha.

Please note that there was no sexy moves at all. It's just that perhaps they never thought we could dance. Miahahaha. Oh, won't post the video in which I was dancing in but will post the one about the standing prayer mat in my next post. :)

p/s: So what else could I be doing during these holidays?? Aside from online-ing, sitting in front of the TV, reading novels, watching Korean dramas (newly found hobby -.-"), sending and fetching my brother and sister to and from school every day?? Am trying to lose my weight through dancing! x) Haha. It's a form of exercise too, you know. ;P Oh this post definitely does not relate to the title at all, right?? Haha. xP

Miles To Go, Promises To Keep

Hi all! Wow. Never thought I would be blogging again. Hahaha. Yep. I know some of you miss my posts. xD How's everyone? I'd actually rather use Twitter than blog now I don't have the time to post anything. Urrgghhh. But yep, missing blogging. ;) Will change the layout in few days I think. Yea! Will renew my blog! Muahahaha. Just like you-know-who renews every aspect that involves KKR!! From jersey to spirituality! xD

Still remember KKR?? Kolkata Knight Riders? I used to post about it last year. First of all, Kolkata is a name of a city in India, can't remember in which state. ;P And it's a CRICKET team, co-owned by you-know-who. When I'm talking about KKR, that means IPL (Indian Premier League) season 3 has started!! And it just kicked off last night!! KKR versus DC (Deccan Chargers)!! Oh, cricket has been one of my favourite sports apart from badminton since last two years. ;P And yep, looking at my mood today, your right! KKR won last night by 11 runs!!! Defeating the defending champion DC!!! Yayyy!!! Finally!! A GREAT NEWS to my ears!! Hail Angelo Matthews and Owais Shah!! Excited to see Chris Gayle playing though. :D Oh, and am definitely looking forward to this Sunday's match, playing against Royal Challengers Bangalore. 'Cause what? 'Cause you-know-who is gonna be there and the whole film fraternity too to support, cheer, sing, dance for his team, OUR team!! xD

Oooohhh, enough of that already. ;P Just wanna let you guys know I'm sitting for my final exams this week. 3 papers left out of 4. Malaysian Politics, Chemistry and Physics. Oh, will definitely miss all my crazy, demented friends in uni especially my classmates once the semester is over. Haha. Oh yea, exams are over on the 19th. So, may the force be with me! ;D Your silent wishes and prayers mean a lot!

Till later!

p/s: Miles to go, promises to keep. We all have a common goal. :) Bring forward a drastic change and a spectacular performance KKR!! And oh! Went ice skating, bowling, and watched Alice In Wonderland last Thursday with Bella, Rose, Ala, Jana, Ruby, Su, Luq, Bel, Apek, Hairi, and Ijat. Thanks for the graciousness peeps! ;D Had a great time!

What A Joy!

Okay guys. Today's post is about the Youth Engagement Summit 2009 I told you about. Now now, don't close the window yet. Read till the end of the post. ;) Today is Oct. 29th. So, that means I received the message last 3 days. Yep. I got a message from this one woman, Audra Pakalnyte through FB. And the title of the message was "Message from SEACHANGE team". The title alone excited me a lot!! XD This was what she sent me.

Cool naa? Haha I know. And then, I immediately sent a response email. And rightfully said, within 24 hours, I received an email.

WOOHOO!! I made it!!! It was a hard work to win this I tell ya. I spent hours on
SEACHANGE Facebook page to win this. Well, earlier, there were few contests we had to take part in if we wanted to win this. I guess I won the Garry Kasparov challenge on FB. ;DD Seriously, I can't wait for next month. Finally, I got the free pass to YES 2009 I'd been relentlessly promoting!! XD Check out my name below! (NO. 92)

SEACHANGE is actually a movement for youth in the Southeast Asian region who wants to make changes to the world. SEACHANGE is an ongoing movement connecting Southeast Asian Youths to projects, organizations, businesses, and leaders who can help them with the change they want to see! It's complicated but you have to go check the website yourself. Here's the link. (Again, I'm promoting here. ;P)

http://malaysia.youthsays.com/seachange/go/lSb

The people you see up here are gonna be the speakers in the summit. I don't know how to explain this, but what's for sure, you'll be motivated and inspired by their talks and this is the first step to bring changes whether to your personal life, to the society, or even to the whole world.

The best part is, when you win a trip to YES 2009, your flight, hotel, and summit pass worth USD2,500 will be paid for. And the amount is equivalent to RM 8,500!! =O Can you believe that? But yes that of course includes the flight tickets and all. ;) But just imagine. It's very expensive to get that one pass. But now, everything is paid for you!! Yay!!!

I'll let you in on a secret (which, of course is a secret no more once you know this. haha ;D). My next semester starts on Nov. 15th. And this event will take place on Nov. 16th - Nov. 17th at the PICC. Other participants will arrive on the day I register for my college. I'm not sure if we will start lessons the next day or not. Or another possibility is, another "get-to-know-your-university" activities. Haha. But I'll make sure I'll attend the summit. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!! Oh yea!! Pray for me so that everything will work out as I wish!! Amin.. ;)

Alright, time's up. Now, it's time for some movies. ;DDD

p/s: I'm really hoping for the best for my next semester so that my dreams will come true, my wishes will be granted, and my prayers will be answered. ;) Amin...

Kya Hua?

"If you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail"

A quote from Benjamin Franklin. Heard it from the radio couple of nights before. Well, it spells out the truth. Yep. If you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail. Now, I really am going to hold to his quote because of the truth that lies within it. Hope this will make me work harder for the betterment of myself. Geez. What an introduction. ;P Okay, the title means "What has happened?" for those who don't know. But I guess it's very simple everyone can guess themselves, right? ;)

Lots of things have happened in life. But no major events have taken place as yet. ;P Oh yea. The day after I attended the VALOURians gathering, my great great grandmother passed away. She was 90++ at that time. Al-Fatihah for the deceased. May her soul rest in peace. Amin.

So I am having my finals currently since last week. It commenced on Wednesday with the Physics paper. All that I can say about it is that it was quite tough. Many said so. So, am I in the safe zone? I don't know either. The next day, Thursday, I got Chemistry exam. I was more confident for Chemistry than Physics. I always am. But somehow I don't have any idea why my Physics marks is always higher than that of Chemistry? Hmm.. *wearing a thinking cap ;P* As soon as I finished the Chemistry paper, I rushed home. My dad picked me up. ;D But sadly, I'm going back to the uni tonight for tomorrow's my last paper which is Maths. Then I'll be free as a bird! XD Maths. For some, it may sound easy huh? But for me, it's getting tougher and more difficult at this stage. I guess I need someone like Pakyem to be around to monitor my studies. ;P

I'll let you in on a secret. Last week, the day before I went back home, I won a top from THR.fm! But it's not a usual regular top. It's a top that was once worn by top B-town celebrities like Rani Mukherjee and Piggy Chops. Oh, sorry. Piggy Chops is the commercial name given by the Bollywood media to Priyanka Chopra. ;P Winning a top from the Khaas collection really excites me!! I can't wait to receive it in my hands. ;D So that I can wear it and feel the sensational feelings of being a Bollywood star! Hahahahaha!

Okay. Need to go study. Am all geared up for Maths! ;D

A Spill Of The Heart

LATEST NEWS: Valourians are organising a reunion party (not a party actually.. more to breaking fast together ;D) this Friday at the Mid. I thought Syella wasn't serious about it. Yep, this is organised by Syella, as far as I know. Heh. I might be joining. Well, yep. Min texted me asking me to join. She'll be there too. So, there you go. I'm IN. Period.

My life is kinda pathetic at the moment. Just finished my Intro to Engin test just now. I would like to perceive today as one of the bad, miserable days I've had in my life. This morning I've just received my Maths test results. Last week, I got back my Chem test results. Urghh!!! Inside me, I feel really terrible no one knows how terrible it is except me and God. I just need Pakyem right now so that he can discipline me like he used to discipline his students in the class back then. Haizz... I guess it's the same thing that always happen to me whenever I sit for an exam or test. I really screwed up my performance in most of the subjects for this second test. There's no turning back. I need to look straight ahead. I don't wanna flunk in any of my subjects!! (If only I could add emoticons here as to show how stressful I am right now.)

What's worse? I thought I had bring along my calculator for the Intro to Engin test I've just had just now but it turned out that I left it on my bed. What the heck! I've just realised that I only took out the calculator from my bag BUT I put it on the bed first and as I was in a rush, I accidentally, not being oblivious enough left it on my bed! To make things worse, the second I was about to enter the exam hall, I lost my pencil..! My precious pencil. I couldn't find it till now. Haiz.. Thank God the questions weren't those that really required me to crack my head.

Now, one more test to go. The third Chemistry test, this Friday morning. Convey all your best wishes to me okay. If I didn't score for this also, I need to get something done with my brain. Seriously. Tighten some screws or whatever necessary.

Reports to be sent by the end of this week.

Final exam coming up as soon as the university reopens a week after Hari Raya celebration.

I THINK I'M GOING NUTS!!!

It Was Uncalled For

Okay, so now I have the mood to blog again. I'd better do it fast lest this one wouldn't work out. xP

So, it's 8.41 pm at the moment and in about a hour and a half, I have to go back to a world that I don't prefer being in. It's great actually, living in the university student life, but nahh... I don't know. I have to go back to my college. I received some shocking news just this morning. A friend of mine asked me if I knew anything about the death of two girls at my college due to H1N1. I was dumbfounded. Then, I said to him that I'm clueless about it and he said he was told by his roommate whose lecturer told his girl friend. Do you understand? Never mind. xP

Just wanna tell you guys that last week was not a good one for me. Seriously. Ever since I got back from the short holiday due to the university closure. But later on, things gradually fell back to its right place and I think I can now say that my life is getting better. Oh yea, I'm freaking petrified because I have a Chemistry test this Thursday! Do pray that I score will ya? I hope I'll do better for this one. InsyaAllah..;D

I just wanna say that, I'm damn pissed off because of the detention of you-know-who at the Newark Airport, New Jersey, the States! He wasn't frisked, but he was interrogated in such a way that you feel like chopping the officers' heads off!! Why? Because you-know-who had tried to explain that he was there because he was invited for the South Asian Carnival. That he was there a couple of weeks back to shoot for his new upcoming film, My Name Is Khan, that he was a movie star etc etc. Uff!! That bloody stupid officer!! Just imagine. You-know-who's was quizzed because of his last name which is "Khan" popped up on the computer screen, which means that he was suspected of being a terrorist! That is so bloody ridiculous!! He thought it was going to take a couple of minutes because he had gone through this many times so he didn't really bother. Then, an officer asked you-know-who to follow him to a room and you-know-who thought the officer was being nice and polite but it turned out otherwise. He was brought to a room where all those people who were suspected too were in. What was worse, the airlines he was traveling in lost his luggages and that delayed his trip to the carnival, which resulted on him being questioned more and more and more. He was treated like a real suspect, except I think the officers asked him much nicer than that. But what makes me feel like my head is going to burst is, there was one officer who didn't believe in what he said eventhough there were people in the room and other officers too that vouched for you-know-who!!! I mean, is he stupid or what?? He could Google you-know-who's name and in a quick instant, billions of websites will pop up on the screen! Two hours later, he was finally released but that too, after Rajiv Shukla (can't remember who he is xP) intervened. Laugh at it, but I cried knowing that he was there all alone, without his personal bodyguard who couldn't come because he has a Muslim name too. It's so disheartening and it hurts when I listened to his conversation with reporters, journalists, whoever they are over the phone. Especially when he mentioned about him phoning his family and his son, Aryan asked him, "Were you caught, Papa?" The emotion in his voice, I can feel it. The way he laughed. He was crying in silence because he felt he'd been humiliated. Poor him.. :,(

Sorry for the long post. I must take it out. I must let my system function again.

What Is Going On?

Just sat for the Physics and Chemistry tests two nights ago. The subjects that I fear since I was in form 4. LOL. Yea, but still.. I think I did quite good for both (READ: QUITE good, not REALLY good). LOL. I will never use the word REALLY good for these two subjects. LOL.

Amalina Syafiqah Zakaria. Now, who is this girl? A dear friend of mine. Not AMALINA ZAKARIAH okay?? LOL. If Amalina Zakariah is AZ, then this girl is known as MALIN. Yup, Malin. She was my classmate before she moved out of the uni to enter CUCMS (Cyberjaya University College for Medical Sciences. A person who loves Korean movies and actors as much as I am for Bollywood, who can stretch smile on people's face even the person barely knows her. LOL. She got to know that she was offered to do Medicine under JPA on the 30th of June and she was supposed to register on the 2nd of July. Ain't that crazy? Finally, she made up her mind to go to CUCMS though her heart was against her mind. And yea, she came back to the uni last Friday to visit us and stayed for a night. Miss us ain't you, Malin? ;P

Great news for me! I managed to win 2 tickets from the radio for the The Merchants of Bollywood musical theatre I mentioned in my earlier post! So excited! Because one ticket costs RM 303! And I got two! Yet I'm still undecided whether to watch it or not. But I definitely will if Shah Rukh is REALLY coming!! Yay!! Who's gonna be my partner? Malin! LOL. She has promised me before she moved out of the uni to accompany me as she is also fond of Bollywood. Oh yea, I could have gotten 2 more tickets of the exact cost (meaning SPECIAL seats) by exchanging the newspaper cuttings I've collected last two weeks for those two tickets. But distance draws us apart. Heh. Well, let's see if I would get to go to the place required.

Unfortunately, a sad news for me. Andy is going to Sarawak. Another dear friend of mine and also my classmate. He's going this Tuesday. Oh, I will miss him. Excuse me, don't get any wrong thoughts in your mind, okay? We're like brother and sister. Because he likes to behave childishly. LOL. Oh yea, wanna know his name? It's TENGKU AZROEYAZWANDY TENGKU AZIZI... Sorry Andy if I mispell your name ;P That's only what I could remember. LOL. It's supposed to be longer. And he's from Kelantan. Never mind, I can meet him when I go to my cousin's house in Sarawak next time. Hain naa, Andy? =D

Oh gosh, 2 more tests coming up. The Mathematics test, and the Computing test. My head will explode out of stress!

*Congratulations Shah Rukh dear! For being conferred the British doctorate honour by the University of Bedfordshire! July 10, 2009.. another memorable date for you. I'm SOOOO PROUD of you! Muah!*

Random Talk

12:57 a.m.

Huarghhh! *yawning*
Don't know why, but I keep feeling sleepy so early these days. Well, since I started my life in uni. I'm well known to sleep late at night, around 2-3 am or 3-4 am. But now, by 11++ pm, I would've already been in dreams. LOL. I guess the hectic life of an individual namely student is the factor ;P

Let me tell you what my life really is in uni. Okay, this is my daily schedule.

Monday:
8.30 am - 10.20 am [ENGINEERING CHEMISTRY]
10.30 am - 12.30 pm [ENGINEERING PHYSICS: LAB]
2.10 pm - 4.00 pm [INTRODUCTION TO ENGINEERING]

Tuesday:
8.30 am - 10.20 am [ENGINEERING COMPUTING]
10.30 am - 12.30 pm [ENGINEERING MATHS: TUTORIAL]
4.10 pm - 6.00 pm [ENGINEERING MATHS]

Wednesday:
8.30 am - 10.20 am [ENGINEERING CHEMISTRY: TUTORIAL]
10.30 am - 12.30 pm [ENGINEERING PHYSICS]
4.10 pm - 6.00 pm [ENGINEERING COMPUTING]

Thursday:
9.30 am - 10.20 am [ENGINEERING CHEMISTRY]
2.10 pm - 4.00 pm [ENGINEERING CHEMISTRY: LAB]

Friday:
8.30 am - 10.20 am [ENGINEERING PHYSICS]
10.30 am - 12.30 pm [ENGINEERING PHYSICS: TUTORIAL]
3.00 pm - 5.00 pm [ENGINEERING MATHS]

Well, if we look at my schedule, I, myself can say that everyday's schedule is balanced. Meaning that I have only one lecture each afternoon. But yea, it becomes complicated whenever I plan to go out somewhere on weekdays.

Hmm.. as for now, I need to get my Physics and Chemistry lab reports done ASAP. I need to submit the Physics report this Monday. Luckily I got cooperative groupmates that I can rely on. What I have to do is only the 'DISCUSSION' part. Yay!

Oh yea, I've managed to collect all the newspaper cuttings needed to exchange them with two of "The Merchants of Bollywood" tickets, each costs RM 303. So, RM 303 x2 = RM 606. Wow! My initial intention is to just have the tickets first, then I'll decide whether I'll go or not. What bothers me is, how am I going to go to the office to claim for the tickets? *wondering* Hmm..
I guess I'll just need to follow the flow.

My eyes are getting heavier. Will write more tomorrow. Till then, good night and sweet dreams. *Oh, I wanna dream about you-know-who tonight! Please, please, please...*

A Week in Uni

First of all, the reason I didn't blog for the past few days is because I've gone to university. Yup, I'm now no longer a school student, but a university student. Let me brief you guys of what happened during my first week there.

Day 1: Saturday (May 23rd, 2009)
I went to the university with my parents. That day was like a disaster for me. I'm not sad of leaving home and family, but I'm not gonna reveal the reasons here. I took my room key and put all my stuffs in the room first. Finished, I went out to PKNS to buy the stuffs I haven't bought yet. In the evening, registered for the college; Mawar College. Met Syafiqah Salleh, Faez, Fafa and Yot.

Day 2: Sunday (May 24th, 2009)
This day was like a hell for me. Early in the morning when I woke up nearly at 5 am, I got unlucky. Why? Because my padlock got jammed. I used the code-padlock or whatever it is but it got jammed. Perhaps I woke up at the wrong side of the bed. So, I couldn't open my half-my-locker-at-stf-size locker. Darn! Why did this happen to me? I need to get ready before 5.30 am! Fortunately, my roomate opened it for me. She's "strong". LOL. Thanks yea Fatin!

Day 3: Monday (May 25th, 2009)
Usual stuffs for orientation week.

Day 4: Tuesday (May 26th, 2009)
Uff, when would this end? LOL. Oh yea, I got sick today. Wasn't able to get involved in some of the activities till night.

Day 5: Wednesday (May 27th, 2009)
It was a boring day I would say. *sigh*

Day 6: Thursday (May 28th, 2009)
Great! The last day for the orientation week! Got back home that night. Hahah, luckily my uni is only a 30++ minutes-drive from home. Yup, got back to Mawar College (the college I stay in, and I know the name is kinda ............ LOL) on Sunday evening. Heh.

>> Just a sneak peek into my one-week life at the uni ;P
