Zee Cine Awards 2011

Yeahhh I'm back!! Wuahahahaha. How have you been? I've been good, but pretty busy lately. What's the latest story? Hehe, I went to Singapore last week. What for? To attend Zee Cine Awards, a Bollywood award function. ;D Don't jump to conclusions, 'cos it's not actually what you think. :) I didn't buy the tickets to the event. 'Cos the cheapest one could get for the ticket was $197 which is equivalent to almost RM500! I'm still sane okay haha so I didn't buy the ticket and thus had no plans whatsoever initially to go to Singapore. BUT. I Googled for some info on previous award shows if there's any contest in which the winner could walk away with prizes of free tickets to the events and after some researches, I found what I wanted. And usually, the contests would be up on the net 2 weeks before the actual event. And there you go, 2 weeks before ZCA was to happen, there was a contest organised by Tune Talk in collaboration with Zee TV. I didn't have to do anything brain-cracking; just upload a photo of me posing like my favourite star, a perfect impersonation of him/her if possible, and include anything red in the pic, and wahla! Wanna see how my pic turned out? :P



The top left pic is SRK as Surinder Sahni in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and as for the bottom pic is SRK on the sets of My Name Is Khan. :P He was wearing Mama Jenny's clothes. Haha.

Waited a day and the next day the organiser called me informing me that I won the GRAND PRIZE!! Two free return flights, free one-night stay at Marina Bay Sands, the hotel where all the stars would be staying at, and two free tickets to the award show costing $280 each!! Gaaahhhh!! Thrilled!! :D And oh, when I went to the Zee office to collect the tickets, they weren't actually $280 tickets, but $390 tickets!! Ecstatic! xD Can't believe my luck! xP I used to think that I'm always unlucky but ever since I met you-know-who things are starting to take a whole turn. :D Not being superstitious though. :) But alhamdulillah ;)) Hehe

To cut the story short, I went to Singapore with Tqasha, one of my besties. :) My friend on PlanetSRK whom I just met for the first time that day fetched me and Tqasha up from the airport and brought us to the hotel. My, I couldn't express how I felt when I set my feet there. There were 3 towers, and we were located at Tower 3. And I was told that all the big stars including you-know-who were mostly located at Tower 2. Then, had a late lunch with them and checked out the place til it was 5.30pm. We started to see people in beautiful gowns and dresses and suits roaming around, waiting to enter the venue. Oh, forgot to mention, I decided to bring another Singaporean friend named Sharmiela to the event, 'cos she helped me edit the pic. :) And we immediately went back up to the room 'cos we were afraid we would be late. :P Wanna see what I wore for that night? xP


Only then that I know how it feels like to be clueless on what to wear to an award function. xP But it's actually very exciting when you feel like you're going on a date with the stars! So you really want to look your best!! :D Hahaha. And yes, that's Shar in the pic ;D

So we went to the venue which was the Sands Grand Ballroom at almost 7 pm. I couldn't help but feel proud to be in the crowd, and feel kinda exclusive because the tickets weren't cheap so those going must have come from the middle and high class community. You know what I mean. Not degrading anyone here, please. :) Then, we were allowed to enter the ballroom at around 7.45 pm. Man, I felt so great and delighted at the sight of the stage!! :D It was very beautiful and colourful!! Never in my life would I ever dream of coming to a Bollywood award show, let alone staying in the same hotel as the stars and all that for FREE!! :O Thank you Allah x)) Finally, my dreams are coming true, one by one. :)) We waited anxiously for the stars especially you-know-who to appear, taking pics in the meantime. There was a crowd at the corner of the ballroom, we wanted to go to that section, but couldn't as there were a lot of people gathering there and we later found out that they were there because the stars would appear from behind the black curtains near them. But I wasn't that sad as I came there merely to enjoy the show. :)

And the show started at exactly 9 o'clock. Sajid Khan entered the stage and showed the audience a footage of Akshay Kumar, before the man himself came out and greeted the audience. Wow. This is it, I told myself. I really couldn't believe that I was actually there!! Witnessing one of the biggest Bollywood award shows live. What's more exciting was I'd get to watch Shah Rukh Khan perform live in front of me!! And to witness him receiving the award!! =D I felt blessed that I understand Hindi language, well, most of it. :) Felt proud yet again 'cos I laughed at the right moment others did when Sajid or Akshay or other presenters cracked jokes. xP Then, it was Priyanka Chopra who entered the stage imitating Salman Khan in Dabangg. That was my first time listening to the 'Hud Hud Dabangg' song and instantly liked it. ;D Priyanka was very cool no wonder she's one of the finest actresses there is. :D Award-giving segment followed suit. MNIK won the Best Marketed Film award and Karan Johar went to the stage to receive it!! I LOOOOOOVE Karan!!! xD He's so sweet!! x)) Hehe okay so then other performances followed suit, performed by Arjun Rampal with Neha Dhupia, Sophie Choudry, Jacqueline Fernandes, Anusha, and another actress I couldn't remember. :P Arjun was awesome! Loved his performance! Then, it was Aishwarya and next was Deepika. I don't know how to say this but when the ballroom was filled with only Bollywood songs, I felt WOW. Like I was really in Mumbai! Where I can only hear Hindi language. Overall it was great!! :D

Shah Rukh came up to the stage to present Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh their awards and man did he look so handsome?? :D Loved the suit he was wearing! ;D He definitely has a good taste in everything. x)) Then it was almost 1 am. At last, the finale performance I was waiting for since the day I got the news I won the contest. xP The FINALE performance by none other than SHAH RUKH KHAN!! Man, he just looked soooo hoooooot!!! xD I was stunned and dumbfounded when I realised that I was actually watching him perform LIVE right in front of my eyes!! I got my camera ready and the second the music started the recording mode was on! The stage was so colourful and the music of Mitwa mixed with Noor-E-Khuda started playing! Then there Shah Rukh appeared!! People were not quite responsive but everyone was like edging forward and you could tell that he had the most stage presence among all performers of course. :D You could hear me scream if you watch my videos!! :D I felt like I was actually at one of his concerts!! =D I sang along as he danced to the music. I just LOOOOOOVE every bit of his performance it didn't lack anything!! The way he danced, the way he showed his expressions on the face, the way he spinned, and then dropped to his knees, gaaaahhhhhh...I would've fainted if I were actually at the very first row!! :O

Then, the performance ended. He took the mic and I was literally shouting in my head screaming, "Yes yes yes!!! Now his act!!" He took off his glittery jacket and spoke to the audience in Hindi. As usual he was at his wittiest best and later invited Hrithik Roshan and wife, Sussanne on the stage for a small segment. :D Hrithik was then taught by Shah Rukh how to sing and dance Sajdaa Rizwan's way. And Sussanne retaliated by going down on her knees and confessed her love for Hrithik. Awww...that's so sweet. x)) And Shah Rukh was so damn cute and hot at the same time!! :O I LOOOOOVE when he sweats!! xD And his act ended. Then, more important awards were given to the deserving winners and finally the moment came. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan presented the Best Actor Viewer's Choice award to you-know-who!! WOW!! I just watched SRK himself walked to the stage and received the award!! It was a touching moment for me!! x')) And a small act by Priyanka Chopra soon after, imitating Rizvan. She walked to where SRK and Karan sat and chatted a bit with them. And after a few smiles and giggles and laughs I got from you-know-who the award function officially ended at 2 am. :) After the show there was an after-event party at the Skypark. Me and Shar knew about that and tried checking out the Skypark at the topmost floor and found out it was held at a lounge. So we couldn't enter as we're Muslims. Plus, I was wearing hijab and I thought only those with passes could enter. We went back to the room and finally got some rest. :)

The next day I went to the Skypark with Tqasha and Shar. The view was so beautiful up there and I thought I would freak out as I have a fear for heights but I didn't. :) And the swimming pool was mindblowing! I wanted to take a swim but then I would need to wear a swimsuit. :P So we checked-out at 11 am and Shar sent Tqasha to the airport as she was leaving that afternoon. I was gonna leave the next day noon. While waiting, I bumped into Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne, Anusha, Ronit Roy, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Dharmesh and other Dance India Dance stars except Shakti Mohan, one of the Moranis, Subhash Ghai, Punit Malhotra, and a few others I couldn't remember. :P I didn't get to meet Shah Rukh this time as the security was very tight plus he didn't walk into the lobby, but I actually talked to his right-hand man, Subhash Jain! :D And he remembered me when he saw me at the airport last April! =D He was so so nice and did something unthinkable. :P Asked him about Shah Rukh, Gauri, and about Don 2 in Malaysia. ;D He told me that Shah Rukh was still at MBS and was gonna leave at 12 pm as he had to go to Argentina at 12.30 pm on a chartered flight. We said goodbye and he left. And oh, me and my friend sneaked into the underground parking area where we thought the stars would leave from. Saw very big cars. :D Now I know what they mean by BIG cars. But we got chased away by a security guy. xP I mean, he politely asked us to leave as it's a restricted area. Haha. He even sent us to the lift to make sure we really left that place. :P

Well, that was it. My report for last weekend. :D Hmm, to be frank, I wasn't disappointed or frustrated that I couldn't get to meet Shah Rukh in person this time as I didn't actually get to prepare anything for him. Plus, I didn't look forward to it because of the reason I told you earlier. BUT. I will definitely hunt for him again when he comes to Malaysia veryyyyy soon. =D Less than a month now!! Well, better go! Have classes tomorrow and need to drive from home early morning! ;D See you later!

Free Ride! ;D

Hey lovelies! How was the previous post? I bet it set your pulses racing! LOL! xP I still can't believe the luck I've got that I got to talk to you-know-who just last weekend. xD I got to see him all dressed up. Well, my friends on Twitter who are also SRK fanatics as I am told me I'm very very lucky to see him in clad casual attire and in his best suit. I can only thank Allah for that. x)) Alright, will stop talking about him now else you'll get bored. :P

So, yesterday morning I was woken up by the sound of my phone indicating a text message I just received. And it was from Farz. I was wide-eyed when she asked me if I wanted to follow her to our school in JB. Whoa. What a very last-minute plan this was. :P It took 4 hours plus plus to reach the school. But I still asked my dad and he gave his consent so did my mom and so Farz fetched me up at my house. Ah she had a GPS so there was no problem at all. :P We reached school at around 5. Man, how I missed school. Lots have changed and I could barely recognize my own block. xP It was called Tengku Arfah block or Block B during my time but now it's called Fatimah block or Block A. Sorry but I kinda dislike the new name. ^.^" So me and Farz and Amor met the wardens at the warden office to inform them about our presence there, that we were going to spend a night there at Block E. And oh, when we entered the teachers' room, man. The second Pak Kamil saw me, he went, "Siapa yang tangkap gambar dengan Shah Rukh Khan tu? Amboi, melebih-lebih pulak." Well, I could only smile. ;P And I also met Pn Bahayah and Pakyem. Whoa. Pakyem bought a new car. :D So did Pak Awie. But those two lil children that I used to play with have grown up. Hakim and Haziq. :D They did talk much especially when they saw me. Lol. And oh Madihah is now already in Standard 1. Had a lil chat with Pn Bahayah and Pakyem and they went back home. So that night Pak Awie treated us to seafood! Yum yum! Even though the food didn't taste that good, but thank you Pak Awie! ^.^ I was kinda embarrassed. Heheh. Then, that night Wani Mis came and I went out with her to buy some supper. :P Ooohhh, she can drive. Hahah. I miss her!! ;D Promised her that I will come down to JB again some time in the future and sleep over at her house.

So this morning me, Farz and Amor met a few other teachers including Miss Faridah, Teacher Liza, Pn Maini, Pn Marlini, Pn Saidah, Pn Lili, Pn Norizah, Pn Jaya, Cikgu Zuraidah, Miss Raha, Pn Azian, Pn Radziah, Miss Silah, and Cik Suhana. Just knew the night before that today there would be a graduation ceremony for Form 5 students. Hahah you know what they said when they saw us? "Ohhh ada orang tangkap gamba dengan Shah Rukh Khan lah. Pegangan yang kuat bla bla bla" LOL! I could only laugh and asked how they knew about it. Miss Faridah told me Pn Jaya showed her my pic with SRK. xP And so the news spread like wild fire. :P I dunno if Pakyem knew about this but thankfully didn't bump into him this morning. ^.^ Or I'd have to answer questions. Don't worry teachers, will see you again early next year with Fadhilah hopefully. :)) Am a bit sad didn't get the chance to spend some time with all. Was rushing because Farz had something to attend to. Heh. Oh, never knew teachers would notice about my default pic. -.-" Miss Raha even texted me on my way back home, congratulating me on my accomplishment of meeting you-know-who. Since she had been my English teacher since form 2 till form 5, she definitely knew about my extreme love and admiration for you-know-who since I used to include you-know-who's name in all my essays. :P So I bet all the teachers might have known about it by now. xP

Thank you Farz for the free ride! ^.^ Lain kali bawak lagi eh. Hahaha. And oh, I'm going out to Mid Valley with my ex-dorm mates tomorrow noon! Excited much! ;D Been a loooooong time since I last saw them. So, fun and excitement is expected tomorrow! ;D

Awesome Week

Resurfacing after a week of absence. :P Yea. Last week was quite a busy one. My first time being involved in programs under university level. Hohoho. Oh, last Friday i became the master of ceremony for the FCE Dean's Award Night 2010. Thank God everything went well despite some glitches here and there. The most important thing is i did okay even though there was a mistake in the beginning of the function. :P Well, unnoticeable okay. I hope so. Hehe. So here's a pic of me as the MC that night. Whoa! 12.6 degree Celcius! I should've brought along a jacket or sweater. Hahaha. Well, at least i have an idea of how it feels like when it's autumn in the European countries and other places. :) We're planning to go there again when it's winter this December! ;D

Oh, my first final exam is just 10 days away. I've promised myself, and especially both my parents, that i'll do my very best to achieve the best for this sem. :) But i do have the jitters in me, and am feeling apprehensive somehow. -.-" So this is my final exam timetable.

We Had A Blast! And Happy Teacher's Day!

Hey all! Wow. It's Tuesday already and so much time has passed by. Well, am in a good mood today 'cause I woke up early in the morning at 5.30 (considered an achievement ;P) since I hit the sack at 11.30 pm last night, possibly the earliest ever for the past few months. Haha. It's been too long since I got to wake up fresh, not feeling groggy in the morning due to either lack of sleep or late nite sleep. ;P And am hoping that fresh, positive vibes are coming my way, by hook or by crook. Wuahahaha. x)

Couldn't get online properly and as usual since last Saturday 'cause had friends over for sleepover. ;D And they're all my schoolmates, three of em. Dayahkam, Dila, and Tqasha. Those two days including Sunday were a hell lotsa fun. Actually, it was a last minute planning. I only asked Dila last week if she would wanna come over and sleep at my house since her exams would be over Saturday noon and so she agreed. So I thought of asking others who live nearby if they too would wanna join and they did. ;D Dayahkam came to my house Saturday noon and we went straight to Dila's place to fetch her up and while waiting for Tqasha, I brought em to SACC mall and PKNS. ;P And as usual, after a few attempts did I only get my parking right. xP I suck at that yeah. -.-

After Asar prayer, all of us learned to make caramel pudding, my mom's recipe. The process was fun and so was the result. ;P The pudding tasted great, like the one my mom always makes, well, the only pudding I can eat 'cause I hate pudding to be honest until I tasted my mom's few months back. Hehe. Done, then I instantly went to my bedroom and slept 'cause I didn't sleep a wink the previous night, watching videos of MJ, and yeah, I miss Michael Jackson. :'(((

Ooohhh, that night we had BBQ!! We ate outside of my house, in the lawn, breathing the cool night air. Haha. Had so much talk and laugh and it did bring back memories from our schooling years. We did a great job in reminiscing 'ol times oh yeah. Haha. Suddenly I feel so old by the sound of it. xP Very early the next morning, we took a stroll around my neighborhood, which I missed doing. ;P And oh, since it was Teacher's Day, we rang Pn Rapeah, Ustaz Amin, Pn Bahayah and Pakyem. Felt good to hear their voices again. :) Totally missing em all. And so the rest of the day was spent at Times Square, watching A Nightmare On Elm Street. The movie was awesome I tell ya! :D One, two, Freddie's coming for you... Goosebumps! xP Dayahkam and Tqasha went back to their home that day but Dila stayed back for another night. Haha. So basically we just hung around in my room and watched Personal Taste. ;P


p/s: Thank you so much for the wonderful weekend! ;D Oh, I had fear and tears in my eyes this morning when the thought of everyone leaving me to study abroad later in the future hit me. Haiz... -.- S'okay, hope luck will come knocking my door from this day onwards so I can achieve my dreams too and we can visit each other in the future, even if we're in different continents. Wuahahaha. ;D And oh, Farz's place this weekend! Harap2 jadi eh. xP

On A Mother's Day

It has only been almost 10 hours since I just met other Valourians. Well, just a small get-together over lunch. Hehe. Chut, Dila, Farz, Mady, and me. Thanks a lot for agreeing to see each other! Hahaha. And as usual, I couldn't stop babbling about you-know-who as soon as I met them, kan kan kannn?? xP Oh, first of all thanks a ton to Chut's GPS I only trailed her car, need not worrying over driving Farz to wrong destinations. xP Or worst of all, panicking for such thing that might've had happened if I really were to drive to Mady's place without Chut. Eheh. -.- Next, thanks (la sangat) tu Dila to finally agree on seeing us! Oh, she has been rejecting my request several times already. Too many excuses. Haha. And oh Dila, I can REALLY drive, okayyy. Smug. xD But most important, thanks to Farzzzz, she agreed to come though she lives a bit far from us all and I just asked her yesterday night out of over excitement! Last minute planning. Hehe. ;D Mady, memang best ah dapat jumpa kau balik! xD All in all, had a great time though for just a few hours. :)

Oh, today's Mother's Day. I thought it was yesterday. But luckily, I hadn't wished my mom yesterday else I'd spoil everything. Haha. And would feel embarrassed too of course. ;P Thought of buying something for my beloved mom when I went out just now but then my sister had done what should've been done by me. ;) So, after I got back, after Asar, all 4 of us went to the master bedroom and wished mom Happy Mother's Day and handed her the gift. Chocolate gift! In which she was very happy to receive it since it's her fave! ;D But I know the real gift your hoping for from us is to see your daughters and sons to succeed in life, in whatever we do. And I know I haven't been fulfilling your wish lately, and I feel horrible for that. Really. :'((( T_T But am waiting for the right moment to bounce back (since it's holidays -.-") and make you and dad, and my siblings, proud of me, since I'm the eldest and holding the hugest responsibility for being so. Will try to make up for my mistakes in the past and study harder, and prove to all I can be what you think I can be. x) Aaahhh, am being emotional. -.- Will gift you that I promise! :D

May May Bring A New Shine To My Life

Woooohoooo!! Am on cloud nine at the moment!! xD Coz I just received my copy of My Name Is Khan original DVD this morning!! x) Just seen the special features and totally loveeeeeeeeeed them!! Especially all the unseen deleted scenes. Yea. Most of the scenes were quite essential to the film but I guess they didn't do much difference though. That's why they were cut, right?? But I still wish some of them were in the film. :P Who has seen the film??? :D Tell me your verdict guys!! Oh, can't wait for his new superhero sci-fi film - Ra.One!! Which stands for Random Access Version One. Even he doesn't understand it himself, why he's naming his next project as such. ;P

Oh, did I tell you that we had our annual dinner last two months?? I know I didn't. Haha. The dinner for foundation of engineering students was held on the 27th of February 2010 at INTECMA (pardon if the spelling is wrong -.-). I thought the night would be soulless if we weren't feasted with any performances. So I talked to the committee member for performance, that I would want to perform on that night. Haha. And eventually we made a group consisted of 7 guys and 5 girls and danced to Sorry Sorry (Suju), Geli Mat - guys ; and Gee (SNSD), Jai Ho - girls. The hall was quite small so I could feel each eyeball staring at us. Lol. I love to dance and have been joining dance performances since I was 7. ;P The feeling was good, obviously, when you do something you're passionate about. -.-" Eheh. And yes, I did get compliments and accolades for my choreography for the Jai Ho item number (PCD version) which brought smile to my face throughout the night and a few days that followed especially when the positive comments came from most of my guy friends. Muahahaha.

Please note that there was no sexy moves at all. It's just that perhaps they never thought we could dance. Miahahaha. Oh, won't post the video in which I was dancing in but will post the one about the standing prayer mat in my next post. :)

p/s: So what else could I be doing during these holidays?? Aside from online-ing, sitting in front of the TV, reading novels, watching Korean dramas (newly found hobby -.-"), sending and fetching my brother and sister to and from school every day?? Am trying to lose my weight through dancing! x) Haha. It's a form of exercise too, you know. ;P Oh this post definitely does not relate to the title at all, right?? Haha. xP

Miles To Go, Promises To Keep

Hi all! Wow. Never thought I would be blogging again. Hahaha. Yep. I know some of you miss my posts. xD How's everyone? I'd actually rather use Twitter than blog now I don't have the time to post anything. Urrgghhh. But yep, missing blogging. ;) Will change the layout in few days I think. Yea! Will renew my blog! Muahahaha. Just like you-know-who renews every aspect that involves KKR!! From jersey to spirituality! xD

Still remember KKR?? Kolkata Knight Riders? I used to post about it last year. First of all, Kolkata is a name of a city in India, can't remember in which state. ;P And it's a CRICKET team, co-owned by you-know-who. When I'm talking about KKR, that means IPL (Indian Premier League) season 3 has started!! And it just kicked off last night!! KKR versus DC (Deccan Chargers)!! Oh, cricket has been one of my favourite sports apart from badminton since last two years. ;P And yep, looking at my mood today, your right! KKR won last night by 11 runs!!! Defeating the defending champion DC!!! Yayyy!!! Finally!! A GREAT NEWS to my ears!! Hail Angelo Matthews and Owais Shah!! Excited to see Chris Gayle playing though. :D Oh, and am definitely looking forward to this Sunday's match, playing against Royal Challengers Bangalore. 'Cause what? 'Cause you-know-who is gonna be there and the whole film fraternity too to support, cheer, sing, dance for his team, OUR team!! xD

Oooohhh, enough of that already. ;P Just wanna let you guys know I'm sitting for my final exams this week. 3 papers left out of 4. Malaysian Politics, Chemistry and Physics. Oh, will definitely miss all my crazy, demented friends in uni especially my classmates once the semester is over. Haha. Oh yea, exams are over on the 19th. So, may the force be with me! ;D Your silent wishes and prayers mean a lot!

InsyaAllah, I'll Get To Meet Him!!!

Hi people! Back to blogging. :) Actually, I've been meaning to post this 2 days ago as soon as the news was out but then I was too excited my fingers were trembling everytime I touched the keyboard. Then, I thought to post it the next day but then I was struck by grief and sorrow I didn't have the mood to post anything. Now my mood is better and I'll post the news.

SHAH RUKH KHAN IS COMING TO MALACCA ON DEC. 11 TO PERFORM IN HIS OWN CONCERT!!!!

Woohoo!!!!! I'm SO SO SO SO SO SO SO happy and excited!!!!! XD Finally, his concert!!!!!! In which I might be able to meet him in person!!!!! This was exactly my reaction when I first heard the news. I was jumping, singing, grinning, it took me more than an hour to sleep thinking about the concert. Geez...you must think that I'm REALLY crazy huh? Hahaha. We Shah's fans are like this. :DDD The concert will be held at the Hang Jebat Stadium in Kerubong, Malacca. Actually, the matter whether the concert will actually be held depends on the sponsorship. If anyone is willing to sponsor, then the concert will happen and vice versa. But I think it will happen 'cause who wouldn't want to sponsor SHAH RUKH KHAN concert?? There comes the logic.

The concert planned for December 11 will be held in conjunction with the UN World Assembly of Youths 60th Anniversary celebrations to be held in Malaysia (specifically in Malacca I guess) next month. So, I've told my friends from Singapore about this and they will InsyaAllah come!!! Woohoo!!! So, that means I will be going with them!! XD Well, I don't want to put my hopes too high though. But if this really happens, this will be the first time ever I meet Shah and the first time I go to a concert (excluding concerts I went when I was a kid :P)!!!!! I don't want to think about it much, seriously, until it's 2 weeks or one week away til the concert but what can I do? I get enticed whenever news about the concert comes out almost everyday. ;DDD And this is the latest I received this morning.

MNIK promotion starts on the 1st week of December
Confirmed news. The promotion kicks off with a music+promo launch event. It will be telecasted live by all news channels.

Final date is still not decided, but will be in the 1st week of December. SRK is travelling to Malaysia on the weekend 10-11, so the first media event will be in the 1st week of December.

I've always imagined myself catching Shah at the KLIA. ;))) I hope I will and I pray that I can attend the concert with those Singaporeans. :D In the meantime, my friends from Singapore asked me to search for the nearest hotel to the stadium so that we can stay there and I'm also doing a research on which hotel Shah usually stays at when he's in Malacca. Might get to catch him in the hotel too. :)

p/s: Will post about MNIK soon, to promote the movie. :) Dosto, please pray for me that I get to meet one of my greatest role models (you don't know him in person) ever during the concert. And I pray that nothing can stop me to go to the concert THIS TIME. :)

Oh yea, can't wait to meet Mr. Amitabh Bachchan this Monday!!! XD (Haha, Jia selalu panggil dia Amitabh Belacan. :P)

To Tkapad, don't be sad okay? InsyaAllah I will send you at the airport on the 30th Sept right? You're lucky you have to check in early, or else I wouldn't have been able to come. Because it's my first day of my final exam. I have Physics on that day. Heh. It's hard to bid farewell to you, but don't let emotions get into our heads okay? Hope you'll do a very great, splendid job there in Egypt and please post as soon as you reach there. We surely don't wanna miss a single thing on your trip to Egypt. ;D And please please please, don't act or behave like we're not going to meet each other again. Like I always say, "Kabhi alvida naa kehna - Never say goodbye. Because it crushes the hope of meeting each other again." ;D Hope I won't cry on that particular day. =)

Girls Night Out

I just got back from 'kampung' this afternoon. Around 5++ pm. Tired? Not really. Been sleeping all the way from 'kampung' back to my home sweet home =)


110909 - A really fabulous day for me and of course other Valourians who attended the gathering. ;D I've mentioned about the gathering in my previous post and the idea was initiated by Syella. Yep. Mady and I planned to go to the Mid in the afternoon so that we got more time to shop around. =P Hehe... but the night before I was so busy as I had to finish all my reports which needed to be sent on that 110909. Three reports. A group work they were actually, but my group members were SOOOOOO ****** that I thought it was a waste asking them to do their parts. Everything would go haywire. Trust me. I indeed skipped one lecture and one tutorial class that morning just for the sake of that reports. Haiz... So, I managed to finish them up at around 12 pm and rushed to INTEC to meet Mady. Wrong. There's a twist in the story. Nabilah Zamani aka Bella drove Mady and her friends to pick me up at Section 2. Mind you, I was freaking frightened sitting in the car! Bella was driving like furious! Haha. Then, we dropped by at Tqasha's place for her to get changed and all. Bella then drove us all to the KTM station.

Cutting the story short, we reached the Mid at around 3 pm and started shopping. I didn't buy much as nothing was in my interest. Mady, as usual spent her money like crazy buying one top and 4 jeans if I'm not mistaken. Haha. And they all cost only RM100++. Can you believe that???! Geez. As for Tqasha, she ended up with a nice white cardigan. We walked and kinda window-shopped after that and bumped into so many Valourians. Hugged, cried, blew kisses, complimented each other and all that and it was nearing 6.30 pm. Time to get ready for fast-breaking! ;D Our venue was the 'Little Penang Cafe'. One by one came to the cafe and all were like hysterically crying and screaming when we saw each other I thought I had that tiny bit feeling of do-I-need-to-feel-embarassed-because-everyone-is-looking-at-us. LOL XD. Everyone took their seat and the waiters started taking orders. Oh yea, I ordered Fresh Coconut and Penang Prawn Mee which was quite tasty and delicious. Mouth-watering? Not really. And I spent RM15.60 on that only! It wasn't worth it much. We chatted and chatted and chatted while eating till 40 minutes before Isya'. Hehe. All of us sped off to the surau but mind you, I was surprised to see a long queue in front of the surau.

Cutting the story short again, as soon as we were done with the Maghrib prayer, most of us went to the Food Court to have our second meal. Haha. *Perut lembu kan?* XD I ordered Chicken Chop Rice which was just a waste of money I guess. And I was delighted to see Azura there! Missed her, really. Done with eating, we started our shopping again! XD Then off to UM! All in all, it was a very pleasant night to be finally meeting you guys again. =) But it was short time actually. Didn't get enough of it. We need to do this more often!

*In the end, I just bought two magazines - Filmfare and Stardust. Never mind, both are Bollywood magazines. xP*

New Craze

As you read the title, you may want to figure out what I am talking about right now.. ;D Last week, my friend introduced me to this Korean drama 'My Girl' (I know, I'm way way WAY too behind for this xP). Suddenly, I felt like an instant liking towards it. I don't know why but it somehow got me glued to the laptop till the last episode. Hmm... nope. This is not the new me. You might have the idea that I've left the world of Bollywood but let me make it a point here, I will NEVER leave Bollywood, let alone you-know-who. Well, at least that's what I thought..=D

And now.. I'm all crazy for this Taiwanese drama - La Robe De Mariee Des Cieux / Heaven's Wedding Gown. XD I remember watching this drama in school back then, yep. At the canteen, with Hafiz and Hajar, every weekends at 4 pm sharp. In 2007 if I'm not mistaken. LOL. One of the factors why I love this drama is because of the soothing music. The songs especially the instrumental one and 'Ai de Tien Guo' by Cyndi Wang. I must admit that I cry everytime I listen to the songs. And now, I'm downloading the drama like nuts!

I love Leon Jay Williams! Though his acting skills are not that good, but he's forgiven. Because he has good looks and he's such a sweet guy in this drama! XD All in all, you can be sure that I'm one of his fans now! But not a die-hard fan, of course. xP (ATTENTION: Leon is NOT a drag queen. If anyone of you thought he's one based on the poster.)

Oh yea, last Friday was a nice treat for me. It was a last-minute plan. I didn't even got the chance to inform other STFians in UiTM. Actually, Dila had asked me tonnes of times to break fast or have dinner together before this but unfortunately I didn't have the time. But last Friday we made it. ;D.. Tqasha who actually at first refused to go because her friend needed her company immediately changed her mind when she met us at Section 2. ;D We had a great time, of course and I found out Dila bought a new cellphone, Sony Ericsson. Nice one, because it's my favourite colour, gold. =D We chatted and chatted and chatted jovially and then she brought us to her apartment. Yeah, forgot to mention. Her housemates were there too but we had our meals at separate tables. I brought my roommate, Atirah along. Thank God I didn't sense any awkwardness in the air. xP If it wasn't because of the computing test I was going to have the next day, I would've slept at her apartment. Geez. Maybe next time. Haha. It was great knowing new friends, Dila's housemates, except for one person. Haha. Only Dila and I know who she is. Welcome to my circle of friends; Fatin, Rara, Iman, Diane and Mira! XD Looking forward to meeting you gals again next time! ;D

Before I leave, I just wanna say that every now and then I am inspired by my friends who made it to do their degrees abroad. And believe me, I'll join you guys when the right time comes. =) And when I say the right time, insyaAllah it will be in the near future. Please pray for me. And have full faith in me. As I really need all the support from you guys.

Lame, Lame, Lame

So last Friday was my birthday. Yep. Celebrated it with my ex-schoolmates. It was a great fun. Well, not really. Time was so short I had to get back to uni before 4. And I only met them for roughly 2 hours! Haiz..Somehow I felt great and nice..for many of my friends here wished me. Heeee....=D Thanks, guys and gals.

Suddenly, the internet is freaking fast. I don't have any single idea in me why it became so. I was damn pissed last night because I had work to do and the internet had gone crazy. Thought of taking a nap, but it went on and on and on until I woke up for 'sahur' at 5.10 am just now. Haiz...Oh yea, the first time ever I managed to wake up for it. XD

Okay, so today is the 2nd of September 2009. Geez, my first entry for this month. ;D Have been longing to change my blog skin since awhile now but I got no chance. So sorry, guys. In just 20 minutes' time, I'm gonna bathe and get ready to go to class. Sounds lame, huh? I know. Being lamer enough, I've got Chemistry tutorial first thing today. Then, Physics lecture till 12.30 pm, and Maths lecture this afternoon, 4 pm till 6 pm.

Ever since I got my broadband, I've been endlessly hooked up to my laptop most of the time. You can guess what my activities are when I'm back at home. Hahaha. Yep. No other reason. Sirf you-know-who.

Actually, I've got something else in my mind to write about here. But I got to rush and I'll catch up with my blog again as soon as I got back. Okay? ;) Been missing my blog. Seriously.

Alright, moving on...

I downloaded the mp3 to mmf file converter trial version (because I don't have any cash with me to buy the software online xP) so as to convert my mp3 files to mmf (it's obvious, duh!). And now I have the Don dialogue audio as my message tone! How fantastic that is! The trial version is for 15 days. So, 14 days left. Oh yea, ek khushi khabre (good news) for me! I've just asked a friend of mine from India to buy me a pen. This is not just a regular pen. It's the Linc pen which has SHAH RUKH KHAN's signature on it. And he (Adi) actually agreed to buy it for me and post it right to my house this weekend. Uff! I just can't wait any longer for the pen to arrive in front of my doorstep! You guys might think of me being a pagli (a crazy girl). Being a true blue fan of you-know-who, that's who I am. ;D It means a lot having something primarily associated to the person you really really adore in possession, though it's just a pen with his signature on it. But I'm yet to own a lot more of his stuffs in the future..insyaAllah.. ;P

Now, ALERT! ALERT! My birthday is drawing nearer. LOL. Some of my friends wish that I will throw a party. Nahh, it's been a long time since I last threw a birthday bash. Last year, my best friends and dormmates made a surprise one for me. I really appreciate what they did and I want to say here that I love you guys a lot! ;D Let's see who remembers my birthday this year. LOL! XD

Okay, so, I have only two assignments in hand. Both are the Physics tutorial assignments. I was intending to do it initially, high-spirited enough, but come to think of it, I didn't have any reference to refer to. ;P So I skipped that one for a while (hey, what's Internet for?) LOL. Oh yea, I will have to sit for an Introduction to Engineering test the very next day I get back to college. So yea, finally I got something to catch up with, and to study for. Hehe.

Something's lingering in my mind. You don't have to guess. Alright, prepare yourself because I'm gonna talk about him, the you-know-who guy. XP Seriously, I couldn't restrain myself from talking about him. Ask my friends. They've suffered before. LOL. XD You'd better stop here if you don't have the guts to continue. For those who wish to continue, you're very welcome to. MUAHAHAHAHAHA! *evil laugh*

He's just SO irresistible, in every way there is. Okay, so I've been his numero uno fan for the past 11-13 years. Since I was a kid. This is no kidding. And his love and affection grow day by day upon me that there's just no way turning back. So, I've started to join and become a member in every forum dedicated to him (not all, just the popular ones ;P). I've been a fan of THR.fm since I was in form 2 when I discovered about the radio station (the only radio station in Malaysia that airs Bollywood songs. And no, the language used is not Hindi. It's English + Malay + a bit of Hindi :P). And I tell ya, I've won several prizes from the radio station, them being the VCDs and movies complimentary passes. The recent one being the The Merchants of Bollywood musical theatre free tickets. Now, why do I do this? Because this is merely another way of getting closer to you-know-who.

Yea, I've been joining so many forums just so that I could participate in every competition that they organise. Who knows, I have enough luck to win the prizes? Just now, I registered as a member at the www.zeetelevisionasia.com site. And who knows, if there were to be competitions organised in the future in which the winners got to meet you-know-who, I might win. ;D In the meantime, I'll concentrate on my studies so that I will achieve my goals successfully and get what I aim for. Okay, no more procrastinating, Darina. Stay focus. Chase your dreams, WILDLY. Bear in mind that you have only this one chance left if you really wanna achieve ALL your dreams. I hope Allah will guide me along the path and drive me to success eventually.

And yes, you-know-who has been my greatest inspirational figure ever ALIVE (READ that: ALIVE). You might don't know him, but I do. Focusing on who he is in real life, I'm very touched by his generosity towards mankind. A self-obsessed star he is, he's also very modest, very kind-hearted, very humble, and very down-to-earth. Not to mention a person with a VERY GREAT sense of humour. XD Don't be surprised, he was the TOP STUDENT at his school back then, especially during his high school. And he even now has been conferred the DR. title by the University of Bedfordshire, the UK. So, yea, he's the right choice to be the source of admiration and inspiration by all. (Keeping in mind that nobody, NOBODY can be at a higher position than the Prophet Muhammad)

What Is Going On?

Just sat for the Physics and Chemistry tests two nights ago. The subjects that I fear since I was in form 4. LOL. Yea, but still.. I think I did quite good for both (READ: QUITE good, not REALLY good). LOL. I will never use the word REALLY good for these two subjects. LOL.

Amalina Syafiqah Zakaria. Now, who is this girl? A dear friend of mine. Not AMALINA ZAKARIAH okay?? LOL. If Amalina Zakariah is AZ, then this girl is known as MALIN. Yup, Malin. She was my classmate before she moved out of the uni to enter CUCMS (Cyberjaya University College for Medical Sciences. A person who loves Korean movies and actors as much as I am for Bollywood, who can stretch smile on people's face even the person barely knows her. LOL. She got to know that she was offered to do Medicine under JPA on the 30th of June and she was supposed to register on the 2nd of July. Ain't that crazy? Finally, she made up her mind to go to CUCMS though her heart was against her mind. And yea, she came back to the uni last Friday to visit us and stayed for a night. Miss us ain't you, Malin? ;P

Great news for me! I managed to win 2 tickets from the radio for the The Merchants of Bollywood musical theatre I mentioned in my earlier post! So excited! Because one ticket costs RM 303! And I got two! Yet I'm still undecided whether to watch it or not. But I definitely will if Shah Rukh is REALLY coming!! Yay!! Who's gonna be my partner? Malin! LOL. She has promised me before she moved out of the uni to accompany me as she is also fond of Bollywood. Oh yea, I could have gotten 2 more tickets of the exact cost (meaning SPECIAL seats) by exchanging the newspaper cuttings I've collected last two weeks for those two tickets. But distance draws us apart. Heh. Well, let's see if I would get to go to the place required.

Unfortunately, a sad news for me. Andy is going to Sarawak. Another dear friend of mine and also my classmate. He's going this Tuesday. Oh, I will miss him. Excuse me, don't get any wrong thoughts in your mind, okay? We're like brother and sister. Because he likes to behave childishly. LOL. Oh yea, wanna know his name? It's TENGKU AZROEYAZWANDY TENGKU AZIZI... Sorry Andy if I mispell your name ;P That's only what I could remember. LOL. It's supposed to be longer. And he's from Kelantan. Never mind, I can meet him when I go to my cousin's house in Sarawak next time. Hain naa, Andy? =D

Oh gosh, 2 more tests coming up. The Mathematics test, and the Computing test. My head will explode out of stress!

News To Add To The Collection

Wow! Today I have a good news, and a bad one. For me XD.

Let me tell you the bad one first.

What a day to start with. Only just now, at around 4.30 am, I discovered something about my friend. Oh my God, this is serious. Scary, freaky, whatever you want to call it.

One of my dearest friends named Sana, aged 18, was found to suffer from cancer. She told me she has had this ailment since she was a kid, and that she had been sick from time to time. But yet to recover. After years of suffering, finally the cancer has gone to its final stage. The disease has become worse and now she's in the hospital. Sitting on bed, conversing with me through what is called the notebook, a result of the ongoing advances in technology.

Frankly speaking, it brought tears to my eyes when I first knew of this news. Because she has been one of my most endearing friends, being a bubbly and exuberant girl. I somehow couldn't absorb the devastating news because she's just of my age. She still has a long journey to go, a new, long journey to embark on. She has yet a lot to discover in life.

Oh yes, this girl is just the same as me. She is also an ardent fan of you-know-who like me ;P Yup, we get along very very well. LOL. Her wishes before she dies, are to be able to perform hajj, and to meet the king of our hearts, Shah Rukh Khan. I told her, you're not going to die, so stop talking rubbish. She replied, "Doctors have predicted that I haven't had much time left." At that point, my tears fell to the ground.

Initially, she refused to undergo any surgery or operation. Actually, keeping the decision in abeyance. After a tough brainstorming session, and considering all the advices from family members and colleagues, she finally opted for the operation. And now, she told me that the operation is going to be done in Delhi, India next week.

It's kinda weird, because she still has the guts to joke around even with the pain. Yea, she can bear the pain. No big deal, she said. She's actually excited she's going to be operated in Delhi, India because that's the birthplace of you-know-who XD. And she said if the operation succeed, she's going to be reborn there. The hometown of you-know-who. I wish I could be by her side but I couldn't.

Then, I told her, InsyaAllah your surgery will be a success. And surely you will be staying there until you completely heal. Then, the moment you feel your energy is fully back, go and search for you-know-who. Delhi and Mumbai is not that far XD. Oh yea, I asked her to convey my messages for you-know-who too ;P. Never forgo the chance you have in front of you, right?

I just hope she'll be okay and things will turn back to normal. I will pray for you, dear. Always. From afar. I know you're a tough girl. I've given you my advice so I won't post it here.

Yes, KKR! You finally shone! You've finally shown your fangs again! It's time to fight back! You'll show them that KKR will roar even louder for the next season! To redeem ourselves! KKR will win IPL 3!

For those who don't know and haven't been following my blog since the beginning of April, KKR is a cricket team owned by you-know-who and I'm proud to proclaim that cricket is now my newly-found passion!

Wow, how does it feel being a MARA scholar? Even for barely around 2 hours as of now? You guys are just SO DAMN LUCKY to get the scholarship. No doubt you did work hard for this. You guys deserve it.

All four of them get to read Medic. Congrats, gals!

Not forgotten for VALOURians who are now JPA scholars, congrats too!

MADY, ON, AMORE, BEDAH, FARHAH, EMA, CHOY, and others. (JIA made up her mind to stick with PETRONAS)

A piece of advice to those who didn't manage or perhaps I would say failed to get MARA scholarship, look at the bright side. Like me. Okay peeps, the truth is, I am one of those rejected for PILN. Not only by JPA, but also by PETRONAS.

Two rejections in one single night. You think how was I feeling at that point of time? I didn't put too much hope for JPA, because I screwed up myself during the interview, hahah. Well, I think so. But I did hope for PETRONAS, because that was the first time I put up my very best performance I would say for all the interviews I'd attended so far.
